Review of KASE stock market in July 2024
/KASE, August 6, 2024/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) presents an overview of the stock market in July 2024.
The volume of trading in shares in July amounted to 54.9 bn tenge, increasing relative to June by 5.4 times, or by 44.8 bn tenge. An increase in trading volume was observed in both the primary and secondary markets. The average daily trading volume was 2.5 bn tenge, the average daily number of transactions was 6,629 transactions, the average volume of one transaction was 376.1 thousand tenge. The volume of the primary market amounted to 175.0 mln tenge.
KASE Index value in July increased by 1.6 % and by the end of the month amounted to 5,234.43 points.

The volume of transactions with index shares in July amounted to 12.1 bn tenge, which is 2.6 bn tenge higher than in June. The largest trading volume fell on common shares of NC KazMunayGas JSC – 2.2 bn tenge (17.8 % of the total volume of trading with index shares).
