Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC took part in XII Congress of Financiers of
Kazakhstan. Theme of the event, which brought together leading experts and
representatives of country's financial sector, was "Liberalization of Financial
Sector: Rights and Obligations". The Congress was held under auspices of the
sustainable development of financial sector and introduction of ESG principles.
During panel session "ESG Agenda in Financial Sector: Expectations, Results,
Forecasts", Chairman of the Management Board of DBK, Marat Yelibayev,
presented the Bank's achievements in the field of sustainable development. In
his speech, the Chairman noted that DBK supports sustainable development of
Kazakhstan actively through financing environmentally significant projects aimed
at reducing the carbon footprint in loan portfolio and supporting
environmentally friendly projects.
