/KASE, June 28, 2021/ – KASE will launch a new trading and clearing system
SPECTRA for the derivatives market from July 7, 2021.
The following derivatives will be traded using the new trading and clearing
system:
- non-deliverable futures on the US dollar to tenge exchange rate;
- non-deliverable futures on common shares of Halyk Savings Bank of
Kazakhstan JSC;
- non-deliverable futures on common shares of NAC Kazatomprom JSC;
- non-deliverable futures on KASE Index.
Options, option series, calendar spreads are planned to be added to KASE-
traded derivatives as well.
The following KASE by-laws and amendments thereto regulating trading in
derivatives using SPECTRA trading system, as well as clearing, settlements and
central counterparty issues in this market will be put into effect from July 7,
2021:
- amendments No. 7 to the Rules for execution of exchange activities;
- amendments No. 8 to the Regulations on membership fees, exchange and
clearing fees;
- amendments No. 9 to the Regulations on clearing participants;
- amendments No. 11 to the Rules for clearing deals in financial Instruments;
- redrafted Rules for settlement on the derivatives market;
- Specification of futures on foreign currency rate against tenge;
- Specification of futures on shares of Kazakh issuers;
- redrafted specification of futures on KASE Index.
The following documents will be invalidated as of the same date:
- Current version of the Rules for settlement on the derivatives market;
- Specification of futures on common shares of KAZ Minerals PLC;
- Specification of futures on common shares of Halyk Savings Bank of
Kazakhstan JSC;
- Specification of futures on common shares of Kcell JSC;
- Specification of futures on common shares of KazTransOil JSC;
- Current version of the Specification of futures on KASE index;
- Specification of futures on the US dollar to tenge exchange rate.
