The top management of Development Bank of Kazakhstan, headed by Deputy
Chairman of the Management Board Duman Aubakirov, held an online meeting
with representatives of the Kazakh embassy in Turkey with the participation of
the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan
to the Republic of Turkey Abzal Saparbekuly. The parties discussed new
opportunities for strategic partnership and expanding the existing horizons of
cooperation with Turkish businessmen, as well as conditions for services
provided by the Development Bank. The meeting became a logical continuation
of the working visit of DBK employees as part of the official Kazakh delegation
to the Republic of Turkey in March this year.
Representatives of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry in Turkey received a detailed
online consultation on the current financing instruments for DBK, the
government's support measures in the form of state programs, as well as the
most promising industries within the framework of export support, privatization
and public-private partnerships. Managing Director of DBK Adil Ismagambetov
also shared the existing experience of the Bank's cooperation with Turkish
investors and businessmen. According to him, today DBK finances 2 investment
projects with Turkish participation: organization of the multifunctional tourist
complex "Karavan-Saray" by "Turkistan Silk Way Harbor" LLP and the construction
of the multifunctional hotel and tourist complex "Aktau Resort Hotel" in
Mangystau region, as well as 3 projects are under consideration.
