/KASE, August 28, 2018/ – By the decision of the Management Board of Kazakhstan
Stock Exchange (KASE) as of August 28, 2018, Eximbank Kazakhstan (Almaty), which
is KASE member by categories "currency" and "stock market", was suspended from
participation in trading by foreign currencies and securities admitted to trading)
on KASE (except for trading in financial instruments solely for the purpose of
executing previously concluded transactions and/or previously incurred obligations).
By the same decision of Management Board from August 28, 2018, Eximbank Kazakhstan
suspended the status of a clearing member in the categories "clearing member of
the foreign exchange market" and "clearing member of the stock market."
Decisions were made on the basis of the announcement of the National Bank of the
Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 28, 2018 "On depriving Eximbank Kazakhstan
of a license to conduct banking and other transactions and activities on the
securities market" and in accordance with subparagraphs 1) and 2) of paragraph 1
of Article 11 KASE internal document "Regulations on Membership".
