/SUPPLEMENTED/ M. KABASHEV APPOINTED KASE PRESIDENT

/KASE, March 5, 14, re-distributed due to an update on A. Joldasbekov position/–
Following a decision of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) Board of Directors,
authorities of KASE President Azamat Joldasbekov have been terminated early,
effective as of March 5, 2014.
Maksat Kabashev has been appointed as new president of KASE, with a term of
office of three years.
M. Kabashev previously occupied positions of the Chairman of Management Board of
Alliance Bank JSC, Chairman of Management Board of Fund of Distressed Assets
JSC, Chairman of Management Board of Investment Fund of Kazakhstan JSC, deputy
Chairman of Management Board of Sustainable Development Fund "Kazyna" JSC, as
well as held executive positions at Kazakhstan's Ministry of Industry and Trade
and National Innovation Fund JSC.
M. Kabashev in 1991 graduated from the Moscow Forest Engineering Institute;
in 2004 he graduated as a Master of Business Administration from
the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
As of March 5, 2014 KASE Management Board will consists of four persons:
M. Kabashev (President), I. Sabitov (First Vice-president), A. Tsalyuk
(Vice-president), and N. Khoroshveskaya (Vice-president).
According to Kazakhstan's National Bank, A. Joldasbekov has been appointed
Outside Adviser to the Chairman of Management Board of the National Bank of
the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Kelimbetov on issues related to development of
the securities market and KASE.
