/KASE, May 31, 13/ – Following a decision of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE)
Listing Commission, as of June 3, 2013 bonds KZ2C0Y08B834 (KZ2C00001014, TKUDb1;
KZT1,000, KZT2.0 bn; November 3, 2006 – November 3, 2014, semi-annual coupon
indexed at inflation rate, 9.40 % per annum for the current coupon period,
30/360) of JSC "Ore mining and processing enterprise Tort-Kudyk" (Astana) were
removed from KASE official list.
In KASE's May 30, 2013 summary it is noted that a default was committed on
payment of the 13th coupon interest on the mentioned bonds (from November 3,
2012 to May 2, 2013). According to sub-item 5) item 13-16 of Appendix No. 04.2-
09/119 to the Order of the Chairman of Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on
regulation of Activities of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty "On Setting
out of requirements for issuers whose securities are supposed to be included or
have been included in the list of the special trading platform of the regional
financial center of Almaty, as well as for such securities" dated May 8, 2008,
in case an issuer committed a default on his liabilities while his securities
were in the "buffer" category, and the issuer's Board of Directors failed to
take a decision to restructure his liabilities, such securities are subject to
delisting.
Currently, KASE does not possess any information whether the Board of Directors
of Ore mining and processing enterprise Tort-Kudyk took a decision to
restructure its liabilities.
Based on the above-mentioned, the mentioned bonds were removed from the
official list.
The mentioned bonds were included in category B of KASE official list as of
November 3, 2006, and from September 1, 2008 they were transferred into the
second sub-category of Non-Rated Debt Securities category of KASE official list.
From December 27, 2012 they were transferred into KASE official list's buffer
category. Trade in them opened as of January 31, 2008.
During their circulation on KASE their yield to maturity for buyer (on deals
concluded by the open trade method) varied from 0.51 to 25.00 % per annum.
