Eurasian Development Bank launches assessment of the fourth tranche of EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund credit disbursed to the Republic of Belarus

/KASE, October 23, 12/ - Eurasian Development Bank, bonds of which are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided to KASE the following press release of October 22, 2012: quotation The experts of Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), which manages EurAsEC Anti- Crisis Fund resources, on October 15 - 20, 2012 held in Minsk meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy, National Bank and other national agencies of Belarus, and international financial institutions to discuss implementation of the fourth tranche disbursed by EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund. Upon receipt of the Belarusian authorities official report on implementation of the fourth tranche terms, the Manager will continue the assessment based on consultations with interested institutions of Belarus. The Fund Expert Committee will consider the report submitted by the Manager on assessment of terms status. We remind that on June 4, 2011, the ACF Counsel approved disbursement to Belarus of the financial credit in the size of USD3 bn. At present, EDB disbursed to Belarus three tranches: in 2011- USD800 mln, USD440 mln in June and DecemberŠ¼, and accordingly, USD440 mln in June 2012.
