House" JCS (Almaty, "RESMI" FIH) has provided IRBIS with the
review of key events and its investment ideas and forecasts for
January 19, 2012
The "RESMI" FIH analysts pay the investors' attention to the
following key events on the markets:
- The Chinese authorities are considering the possibility of
resolving option of five largest banks to expand lending
in the first quarter by 5% compared to last year, and
weighed the possibility of reducing capital requirements.
Regulator defers the introduction of more stringent
requirements for capital adequacy ratio, as well as
considering the possibility of reducing the weight of risky
loans to small and medium businesses.
- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) invited countries
- participants of the organization's resources to increase
lending by $ 1 trillion. This money will go to preserve the
stability of the global financial system, deepening the
debt crisis in Europe. IMF money will ask mostly in
countries that export oil, as well as large developing
countries with large reserves - China, Brazil, Russia, and
India. In addition, a significant part of the IMF wants to
get in Japan. Officially, plans to attract trillion dollars so

- The agency Fitch Ratings is going to the end of January
to reduce Italy's issuer default rating by two notches. In
Fitch said the rating downgrade of the country is most
likely. January 13 Standard & Poor's downgraded Italy's
one step to "BBB +". The agency indicates large public
debt of Italy. Rate is about 1.9 trillion euro, which equals
to 120% of GDP. Recently, the government tries to
reduce the burden on public finances and reduce debt.

- Amazon.com (AMZN +4.28%). Amazon Web Services
on Wednesday released a new beta version of the
application DynamoDB. This application allows users to
transfer large amounts of data using cloud technologies.

SSD. This improves performance by eliminating the use
of conventional disks. The data is striped across multiple
zones of access, or units of data center networks and
independent power sources. Amazon may enter the
Indian market with eBay, as a platform for buyers and
sellers and will be called Amazon Marketplace. This
move was made in an attempt to overcome the
limitations in multi-brand retailers in the country. The
company already is negotiating with local retailers to
launch a "market" of their community.
- Caterpillar (CAT +0.86%) Finning International, Inc is
trying to strengthen its position in the mining equipment
through acquisition of the business for $ 465 million and
support for Bucyrus Intl., owned by Caterpillar. Finning
undertakes to take control of Bucyrus in South America,
the UK and Western Canada, where Finning already
operates. Caterpillar Bucyrus acquired in July last year
for $ 8.8 billion and has since been in talks to sell part of
their business. Finning said the transaction will be
financed through debt and increase profits in 2012.
Caterpillar has signed an agreement with Miami-based
Energy International Inc (EI), which makes him an
international partner in the international energy projects.
Caterpillar said that this agreement will enable EI to
participate in projects of energy more efficiently because
will borrow the knowledge, experience and improve
customer service system. Caterpillar will supply engines
at discounted prices, and EI, in its turn, will supply
electricity.

reached an agreement with First Quantum Minerals Ltd.
("FQM") to acquire its remaining claims and assets in
respect of the Project for processing dumps Kolvezi
deposit (Kolwezi Tailings project ), as well as mines
Frontier (Frontier) and Longchamp (Lonshi) and the
related participation in the prospecting of deposits, all of
which are located in Katanga Province, Democratic
Republic of Congo ("DRC"), as well as the settlement of
all current legal issues pertaining this equity, for a total
compensation of $ 1.25 billion
- Netflix (NFLX +4.03%) Netflix is popular among

- Oracle (ORCL +2.46%) Oracle expects losses due to
