The S&P/OIC COMCEC 50 Shariah Index has been designed in partnership of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the S&P Indices.

The index consists of 50 largest stocks of leading Shariah-compliant companies from countries and territories, whose exchanges are members of the OIC Exchanges. These are: Bahrain, Bangladesh, Cote d'Ivoire, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkey and United Arab Emirates.

The Republic of Kazakhstan is represented by common stocks of Kcell JSC (KCEL) in this index.

According to the S&P/OIC COMCEC 50 Shariah Index Methodology the constituent weights are based on float-adjusted market capitalization with modifications to reduce single stock and country concentration. The Index is rebalanced on a quarterly basis
