Ring the Bell for Climate 2024

On November 26, 2024, as part of the global initiative of the World Federation of Exchanges, KASE will hold a market open ceremony called "Ring the Bell for Climate 2024".

The event will be attended by:

• Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market Madina Abylqassymova;

• Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mansur Oshurbayev (TBC);

• Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC Alina Aldambergen;

• Manager, Climate Change and Sustainability services, EY Central Asia, Caucasus and Ukraine Ilya Wulf;

• Director of the Low-Carbon Development Department of NC KazMunayGas JSC Aliya Shalabekova;

• Head of the Sustainable Development Center, ERG Nikolay Posypanko;

• Head of Representative Office in Asia and the CIS NUMERCO Azat Abdibekov;

• Managing Director of Zhasyl Damu JSC Saken Qalqamanov.

The event will feature a panel discussion on the topic: "Carbon Markets: A Tool in the Climate Transition", where leading experts will discuss the role of carbon markets in the transition to a low-carbon economy.
