KASE conducted EQUITY CAPITAL MARKETS DAY in London
On October 30, 2024, KASE, with the support of Deutsche Bank, held a conference called "Kazakhstan Equity Capital Markets Day" in London.
The event featured speakers from Deutsche Bank, KASE, Kazakhstan's issuers of KASE Index "blue chips" – the most liquid shares traded on KASE, Chairman of the ARDFM Madina Abylqasymova, Deputy Director of the Monetary Operations Department of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Batur Vakhidov, Director of the Privatization and Restructuring of Assets Department of Samruk-Qazyna JSC Dastan Adikhodjaev and other representatives of government agencies and key organizations of Kazakhstan. The event also saw participation of more than 130 representatives of major global companies based in London.
The speakers shared their vision of macroeconomic trends, stock market development, discussed the prospects and potential of Kazakhstan, key investment opportunities and long-term vision of capital market growth and its integration into the global financial system.
Alina Aldambergen spoke about the current state of the stock market and measures to develop the infrastructure. She pointed out that KASE today provides membership opportunities for foreign companies, which allows them to work in Kazakhstan's securities, currency and derivatives markets.
Overall, this event was aimed at promoting Kazakhstan's equity capital market in the international arena, as well as attracting global investors to Kazakhstan's stock market.
