BROKERS FAIR "KASE FEST" (KIMEP)
In support of the annual program World Investor Week 2022 of the World Federation of Stock Exchanges (WFE), KASE holds a Kazakh brokers fair "KASE FEST" at the leading universities of Almaty and Astana. The event is aimed at promoting trading on Kazakhstan's securities market, as well as improving the financial literacy of investors on the eve of the IPO of national companies in Kazakhstan.
On October 7, KIMEP University hosted the first brokers fair "KASE FEST" in Almaty. The event was attended by more than 600 people, including novice investors and university students.
At the fair, visitors met with executives of Samruk-Kazyna JSC and NC KazMunayGas JSC. KASE experts held master classes, and leading brokers introduced the participants to their services, gave advice on investing in the stock market, conducted games, lotteries. Brokers were presented at the event by Halyk Finance, BCC Invest, Eurasian Capital, Centras Securities, Standard Investment Company, Jusan Invest, Freedom Broker, Kazpost, SkyBridge Invest.
During the fair, participants learned everything about IPO: what it is, why it is carried out, the risks and amounts of investment. They also had a chance to train in the KASE mobile application on the “Stock Exchange Simulator”, played “Bingo” and “Financial Tasting”. Prizes were awarded to the winners.
