Webinar on “Buying the first securities”
On May 26, 2022 at 19:00 KASE held a webinar "Buying the first securities". This webinar is the sixth and final webinar of the training program "My Portfolio at KASE", conducted in order to improve the financial literacy of retail investors.
The speakers at the webinar were:
- Alibek Sultanov, Director of the regional network of Freedom Finance JSC.
He has extensive experience in leadership positions in the quasi-public sector, including commercial director in large companies. A practicing investor for the last 6 years. Freedom Finance JSC oversees a regional network consisting of 16 regional representative offices in all major cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and one in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic).
- Leonid Yugai, Director of the Retail Business Department of JSC "Jusan Invest".
He has more than 12 years of experience in the IT field as a project and product manager. Heads the Development Department of JSC "Jusan Invest" since 2020. Now his activities in the company also cover the field of marketing, analytics and customer service.
- Alexandra Karpova, Director of “Finance under Control”.
Alexandra Karpova has 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Certified Financial Director and professional accountant.
At the webinar, the speakers told how to open an account with a broker and submit an application on the trading platform, as well as which securities on KASE and income on them require tax declaration.
