Webinar "Disclosure of ESG factors" for KASE-listed issuers
On May 26, 2021, at 15:00 o'clock, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) held a training webinar on the topic of environmental, social and corporate governance risks (ESG – Environmental, Social, Governance). The event was organized for KASE-listed issuers.
The speakers were as follows: Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of KASE Yermek Mazhekenov, director of the department for monitoring of issuers and members of the Exchange Viktor Litvinov, Deputy general director of the Expert RA rating agency Sergey Nazarov, director of the department of corporate, sovereign and ESG ratings, Expert RA rating agency Yulia Katasonova and manager of the Consulting Services Department, Pricewaterhouse Coopers Tax and Advisory LLP (PwC) Vasily Kalabin.
During the online seminar, listeners learned about the goals of ESG, factors influencing the organization's ratings and ESG information disclosure on KASE.
