Conference "Sustainable Development of an Organization: Gender Equality" and ceremony of opening trading "Ring the Bell for Gender Equality"

KASE held a conference themed "Sustainable Development of an Organization: Gender Equality" and the annual ceremony of opening trading session at the Exchange’s stock market dubbed "Ring the Bell for Gender Equality " together with the Young Presidents' Organization of Kazakhstan (YPO Kazakhstan) on March 4, 2020.

The events were timed to coincide with International Women's Day on 8 March to support and promote the Sustainable Development Goals proclaimed by the United Nations (the UN) and are intended to highlight the importance of promoting gender equality, empowering women and enhancing their role in society. Distinguished Kazakhstani women, who contribute to the socio-political and financial and economic spheres of the country, attended the trading opening ceremony.

The conference has become an expert platform for dialogue on gender equality in modern business. During the conference, the speakers addressed the number of issues related to legislative and economic incentives for gender equality, as well as various programs to enhance the role and opportunities for female entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan.
