Presentation of the results of the survey of Kazakhstan's securities market by Exclusive.kz
Online magazine Exclusive.kz and consulting company East Point together with the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan (AFK) presented a survey of Kazakhstan’s securities market at the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).
The purpose of the survey was to assess the image (reputation) of professional market participants and to identify actual perception of companies' activities by target audiences: industry experts, mass media, current and potential clients, representatives of the regulator, etc.
According to the results of the survey, 72% of respondents believe in the prospects of the stock market. The respondents called financial illiteracy of the population the most pressing challenge of the market. One of the main factors hindering the development of the stock market was low liquidity of securities.
Overall, about 300 market experts and representatives were interviewed. The survey was conducted by the method of in-depth interviews and polling.
