KASE Talks - Open Lectures (March)
Kazakhstan Stock Exchange launched KASE Talks open lecture series with participation of distinguished Kazakhstani financiers who have made significant contribution to the making of and development of the financial market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On March 20, 2019, 5:00 pm, the KASE Talks lecture was delivered by Dmitry Zherebyatiev, an independent director and a member of the Board of Directors of MONEY EXPERTS, a subsidiary of Nurbank.
At various stages of his career, Dmitriy Zherebyatiev was the head of Kommesk-Omir Insurance Company, Troika Dialog Kazakhstan, Centras Securities and Pension Assets Investment Management Company ZHETYSU JSC and was also the regional manager of Finastra (the third largest fintech company in the world).
In 1998, he was part of the Kazakhstan's official governmental delegation to learn the experience of Chilean pension reform, and in 2008-2011 he was a member of the group on the development of a state program to inform the public about the stock market.
At KASE Talks, Dmitry Zherebyatiev spoke about main trends in the digitalization of financial sector services and shared useful experiences and interesting memories.
The purpose of KASE Talks is to raise awareness of the broad public audience on the conditions in which the financial market of the country has emerged and main factors that affected its development.
The objective of KASE Talks is to promote the financial market of Kazakhstan further and to provide information on the Exchange’s activities and the stock market as a whole.
