KASE Talks - Open Lectures (January)
Kazakhstan Stock Exchange launched KASE Talks open lecture series with participation of distinguished Kazakhstani financiers who have made significant contribution to the making of and development of the financial market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On January 24, 2019, 5 pm, the KASE Talks lecture was delivered by Timur Turlov, a successful entrepreneur and a financier, the founder and owner of Freedom Holding Corp., a leading public investment company in the CIS, operating under the Freedom Finance brand with a capitalization of more than $400 million.
Shares of the holding company are listed on OTCQX Best Market in the U.S. and are publicly available to investors. The holding's equity is US $115 million and the total client assets are more than US $600 million.
Today, Timur Turlov is one of the most sought-after experts on the U.S. stock market. He comments on financial and economic issues in leading business publications in Russia and Kazakhstan, gives lectures and presentations at international conferences, and is engaged in educational projects designed to improve the financial literacy of young people.
The purpose of KASE Talks is to raise awareness of the broad public audience on the conditions in which the financial market of the country has emerged and main factors that affected its development.
The objective of KASE Talks is to promote the financial market of Kazakhstan further and to provide information on the Exchange’s activities and the stock market as a whole.
