KASE Talks - Open Lectures (April)
Kazakhstan Stock Exchange launched KASE Talks open lecture series with participation of distinguished Kazakhstani financiers who have made significant contribution to the making of and development of the financial market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On April 19, 2019, Bolat Zhamishev, a well-known financier of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Management Board and a member of the Board of Directors of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, delivered a lecture at the KASE Talks.
Bolat Zhamishev held senior positions at the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the National Pension Agency of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the People of Kazakhstan, the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), and the Agency for the Regulation and Supervision of Financial Organizations, etc.
In various years, Bolat Zhamishev headed the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Regional Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He is the author of more than 40 scientific publications and a co-author of the textbook "Money, credit, banks." He was awarded the orders of Kyrmet and Parasat.
The purpose of KASE Talks is to raise awareness of the broad public audience on the conditions in which the financial market of the country has emerged and main factors that affected its development.
The objective of KASE Talks is to promote the financial market of Kazakhstan further and to provide information on the Exchange’s activities and the stock market as a whole.
KASE lectures are free to attend.
