Seminar "Essentials of corporate governance"
On September 20, 2018, from 10:00 o'clock, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) conducted a seminar "Essentials of Corporate Governance" for Kazakh companies.
Participation in this event allowed the participants to gain additional knowledge in the field of building effective corporate governance in the company to increase the sustainability of the company and increase its investment attractiveness in the market.
At the seminar themed "Essentials of corporate governance", the project coordinator of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on corporate governance in Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Albania and Kosovo Adalyat Abdumanapova, the general director of the consulting company "Governance & Management Consulting" Gradislava Akhmetova and the director of the Monitoring department of KASE Viktor Litvinov held speeches.
The seminar also included interactive work in groups on business cases. Participants in groups identified pain points in the corporate governance system of various organizational and legal forms of business: a company with state participation, a holding, a family company, a public company, a limited liability partnership.
