Meetings of the Working committee and the General assembly of the Federation of Euro-Asian Exchanges (FEAS)
From November 1 to November 3, 2017, meetings of the Working committee and the General assembly of the Federation of Euro-Asian Exchanges (FEAS) were held in Yerevan (Armenia), in which the Chairperson of KASE's Management Board Alina Aldambergen took part. We remind you that the Exchange has been a member of the FEAS since 1997.
On the first day, a meeting of the Working committee was held, which since 2015 has been headed by the Chairperson of KASE's Management Board Alina Aldambergen. The main aspects of the meeting of the Working committee were discussions of the leadership for FEAS members on carrying out of the surveillance of the securities market, changes in the regulation of European financial instrument markets, new platforms for attracting issuers and investors, technological solutions for exchange platforms.
On the second day, a meeting of the General assembly took place. Within the framework of the General assembly, the participants discussed the FEAS strategy, the new FEAS member – Athens Stock Exchange (ATHEX) was welcomed, and they also approved and adopted the FEAS strategy for 2018–2022, significant areas of which are joint work on developing the infrastructure of exchange markets including the search for new technological solutions, as well as the development of research work within the FEAS, aimed at providing FEAS members with high-quality analytical data.
